The latest Fandom Wank post is following a developing contraversey in the comics world. It seems Nick Simmons, son of KISS front man Gene and would be reality TV celebrity, has been caught in a nasty bit of plagraism in fact the LJ community bleachness has an extensive example of Nick's swipe file.
The first rule of plagarism is never make it too obvious. And using a well know manga as your source is just begging to be caught. It kind of reminds me of a Funky Winkerbean strip way back when it was funny. Les got caught copying an article for class, Funky points out he shouldn't be surpsied that happened, since he was stealing from Ernest Hemmingway, and Les' defense was that he didn't know he was Muriel Hemmingway's grandfather.
