[Role Play] Wilfred Mott, Post-JE

"One moment," Sarah Jane shouted as she veered away from the kitchen. That cup of tea could wait. While it probably just was Alan at the door, she didn't want to take any chances.

The past few months had been far too dull.

She rolled her eyes at herself as she crossed the living room. Here she was, in her fifties and with a son, hoping not just for some ordinary visitor but for someone - or something - exciting. The Doctor, perhaps.

Hearing the response saved him from pressing the button again. Mind you, he would have done so anyway but then again there wasn't any need for being annoying. Even if he did have a bit of fun in it every now and again - Donna always found him to be amusing that way even if Sylvia didn't.

The footsteps could be heard leading to the door pulling open. In front of him stood the familiar older woman he had seen on the laptop over Rose's shoulder. A kind albeit tired smile formed as he 'tipped' his woolen cap to Sarah Jane.

"Hope I'm not intruding or anything - Miss Smith, right?"

"Yes," she answered slowly, peering at him with curiosity.

Sarah Jane could not place the face. It bothered her a bit seeing as the man certainly seemed to recognise her. She pulled the door open a tad more and stood in the frame.

"Do I know you?"
