Not quite if multiple worlds exist then similar but alternate worlds can exist. Also I think only one version of each person can be here at a time. Otherwise I think there would be many disconcerting problems.

Yes, Yggdrasil has to be keeping some form of reality in this world that is already bringing in so much from other realities.
