It is a truth universally acknowledged...

Well damn it's been forever since I've written anything. I bet you all thought I'd died huh? Ok well now I have to actually tell you abuot everything that's happened in the few weeks since I've posted... The thing that stands out the most is the fact that I got my results back about three weeks ago; A*s baby. Get in. It just proves that hard work and proper revision really- oh no wait, I didn't revise properly. Never mind then. Oh and we got our exam time table today and I have about sixteen exams if my memory serves (that would be a first) and I get two weeks of leftover study leave after June 14th because I don't do German or Geography, whilst some of my friends have to endure another two weeks of exams. They were gutted, not that I rubbed it in or anything.

I also did my drama devised piece last week which went shockingly badly; I mean, everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. There is one part where a friend has to squirt ketchup at me, and in rehearsal we'd got this spot on; it lands in a neat line on my stomach that I then smudge in whilst pretending to be really angry. In the real thing however, she managed to shoot it all in my face. I mean it literally could not have gone more on my face, though it added to the realness of it I guess... all the horror and anger was pretty damn real. So I had to spend the rest of the half-hour performance with ketchup all over me because there was absolutely no time to change. Either way the examiner liked it, faults and all apparantly; A*. But now I'm even more stressed out about my other exams in May and June... I'm really worried that I'm not putting in enough revision, although once all of my graphics coursework has been completed and handed in, I'll have buckets of time left.

Oh and I've been massively productive this evening (by my standards anyway) and have managed to write a page and a half of my Pride and Prejudice essay in about an hour.

I think that deserves the rest of the evening off, don't you? Or is that not the right attitude to have?

Whatever, I promise to be more... consistant in my journal posts.

school, rant, exams, pride and prejudice
