Rifts, precious metals and you
note: this post is mainly for GM use but some of you guys might actually care
1 gp = ~32 grams = ~ 100c (this is anywhere credits, roughly the same price in CS credits as Atlantis/NGR/whatever credits) - this is ~ 1420 credits per pound. note that this isn't for 24k gold, it's for minted gold, pure gold is worth a fair bit more
actual values of some itamz should be roughly double its gp value, fortunately in palladium, gp actually doesn't represent actual gold (typically silver or nickel coins).
+1 save spell magic ~70k, +2 save spell 140k. same for any sort of save (psi, wards, and circles/rituals only)
teleport (1 mile) 3x daily ~400k
chasers: single use save or die rape, 6k (uses a psi save). tracks the first target it "sees" and is basically autohit. also has a HF, really ridiculous item all around
