Y'know, being the only person with your name is kinda horrifying during childhood. It's not like I was another Jessica or Jamie with some rearrangement of letters. No, it seemed pretty given that I'd be the only Tanayle ever. Sometime after high school I decided to enjoy being the only one, thoroughly unique, and have come to place great importance in that.

The internet tells me that I'm the most web-present Tanayle by far, but there's a girl in Alabama who's 20-ish and has Tanayle listed as her middle name. There's brief mention of an Australian girl, and then there are the games.
Dear gods, help us! On the list of "Female Character Names Suggestions" for a game called "The Eternal Night: Aftermath", and evidently my name is a minstrel in "Vanguard: Saga of Heroes". Please, anyone, if you run into a character with my name, especially if it's in a fantasy RPG, please tell them that the real Tanayle exists, and she is way too cool to be naming such characters after her. Honestly, it's hard enough convincing people that "Tanayle" is my real, given name! There are people I've known for 10 years who still think it's a pseudonym. If you run into anyone who is actually-in-factually named Tanayle, please send them my way, I'd love to meet them.
