(no subject)
so the job hunt is going pretty well. i've applied to barnes & noble, aeropostale, bath & body works, downeast basics, aunt lean's and cheeburger cheeburger.
i have an interview at bath & body tomorrow and have turned in applications at every place except bath & body, but i'll just turn it in tomorrow when i go in. =]
i really want the job at barnes & noble the most, but if i get it i just pray that i don't have to work the midnight party for harry potter and the deathly hallows... i plan on going to that as a customer/fan with kristi.
anywho... boy world is ok i guess. i'm suspicous that the guy i like, devin, likes me too. however we were texting the other night and he said he didn't like to let people get too close and didn't want a relationship right now. and in addition to that, he's going to NAU in the fall and then he's going to leave for his mission around december. so i'm not really holding out for anything there.
kristi came over last night. we made halloween cupcakes and watched mean girls. hehehe, i love that movie. "i have fifth sense...it's like i have ESPN or something."
ummm... i went to the doctors this morning. and because of my "episode" of passing out back in april, their gonna put me on a heart monitor type thing on monday and i have to wear it for 24 hours. i'm not looking forward to it. not at all.
i qualified for the presidential scholarship that maricopa county colleges give out. i didn't qualify for it when i was in high school since i didn't do my homework, but when i took the ACCUPLACER test at CGCC, i guess my scores were high enough to make me qualify! so my adviser had me fill out a form and told me to have heritage send them my transcripts and i should have no problem getting the scholarship. so it's pretty much a done deal. it's full ride for four semesters so i can get my associates degree, and the only thing i have to pay for is my books and class fees. my parents said that they'll take care of that, so now i can use my momey that i saved up for something else. i might put it towards a car. i was gonna use it to buy a laptop, but my dad insists that i use one that's at the office so i don't have to worry about it getting lost or stolen. i just hoipe that he knows i plan on using it as a personal computer and he OR my mom will not be able to control how i use it. i wish they would stop trying to control my life. i've graduated and i'm almost 18. it's time they let go of my hand and let their little girl grow up. i'm not stupid, so i'm not going to make stupid decisions.
