Out of the Blocks
Haven't really had a real of substance in a long time... so a little try here.
Life is living. Thanksgiving was good time with family and too much food, Black Friday was it's general set of frustrations. But I survive. The snow has finally started falling in Western New York and as the Starks like to say, Winter is Coming.
Today is my second 'interview' with GEICO. Apparently they go through a three step process; Phone Interview, Computer Aptitude Testing, Sales Aptitude Testing. It will be interesting to see how it all goes. I would love to work for the sexy little lizard, there seem to be good benefits and pay, and the opportunity to eventually become a bigger persont here.
But wait, there's more!
WNYB has re-opened and is going to be filming again just a mile away from my house. It means my portfolio can start growing again and that I can harass Godboss to get me a DVD of my work. I'm also seeing if I can't get some seeds planted at the Film Commission and some of the art NPOs locally. That they are hiring isn't necessarily likely, but having people know my name is good.
