Gettysburg, Dad’s Day, and So On
So, on the 19th I went to Gettysburg to tour the battlefield. My sister, her two children and my mother accompanied me to the battlefield, getting a good appreciation for the ranges fought, the scale of the landscape battled over.
We listened to an audio disk about the battlefield, getting a tour from a member of the historical association there. It was great.
The next day, my father and I went to Bullrun Shooting Center, and actually got to shoot Sporting Clay. My word that is fun. Truely, it was Golfing with a shot gun.
And this past Tuesday a woman I met at Gettysburg (working in the giftshop) met me in DC for the day. It was, well, beautiful. Absolutely delightful. Hopefully we’ll have some more fun coming up.
