Because I'll be living at home until fall I was thinking to myself I'd be interested in hosting another Japanese exchange student for a few weeks if I could convince my family to do it.
The weird thing is, we got a phone call today from the exchange organization looking for eight other families because they are running short and are in desperate need of some. They'd be here July 22nd to August 15th.
They must be VERY desperate because the last time we hosted was four years ago.
So I thought "Oh perfect!" So I had my mom listen to the message and she was said "Oh but we'll be in Florida for the whole month of August, that wouldn't work out."
So that's when I learned it was confirmed, that we'll be living in a condo in Daytona Beach for the entire month of August. I was disappointed that we couldn't get an exchange student, unti my mom told me how we'd visit NASA (or some sort of equivelent space station place *shrug*) as well as DisneyWORLD.
Now DisneyWORLD is the place I've always wanted to go instead of Disneyland. It has different rides, and plus as a kid I was brainwashed by Nickelodeon about how everything was "Filmed in Orlando, Florida Disneyworld" and was jealous.
So it'll be a neat getaway before my drudge in life begins.....
