Chapter 2
Slap! Slap!
Another hours and I will run out of blood. Mosquitoes are everywhere, it’s annoying! My legs numb for kneeling almost two hours, and my hands hurt for holding my camera and I found nothing. Is the phone call earlier was just a prank call? Damn! Curse that caller. Wait! This is kind a weird… It’s in the middle of the city! How come there are mosquitoes here?
“Damn! I was fooled!” A deep sigh sneaks out from my mouth. I lean on the wall, trying to ease the aches from all over my body. I will wait for another couple of minutes, and if still, there is nothing significant happened here, I’ll leave and take a long sleep. I haven’t taken any proper sleep these past few days……... Oh, the view up here is magnificent. The neon lights that shining across Tokyo is breathtaking. The night breeze, although is no longer fresh and healthy, still feels nice when it blowing tenderly. I need to cherish this moment, and without I even realized it, I take my camera that hanging on my neck and start to take pictures of the night from the rooftop of some abandoned building next to Sion Club.
What I’m doing here, wasting time? What actually should I find here? I better get home. This is stupid! I shouldn’t believe that call. Ah, wait! I should take a picture of that club. Quite an interesting building they have here. I fish out my AF-S DX NIKKOR lens and change the current lens to get a better view since its night time. I like the signboard, it’s cool. Oh, someone is coming out from the club.
I zoom out my focal focus and just like magnifier; the figure gets clearer and bigger on my viewfinder. Just as I get to see that man face, it gets block by someone head. He is wearing a spectacle. Who’s that? He got a build like a log. So big! I absolutely will not, in my life getting into fight with that man. I’ll surely lose even before the fight begins. Another man is coming out from the club and approaches the big man after bowing to a man that I failed to see his face earlier.
They are whispering, and the big man nods. Two minutes passed, a black limousine stops exactly in front of them. The big man then moves forward to open the door to the limousine. Okay, now the blocker is gone… I adjust back the focal focus and… huh!? My heartbeats suddenly racing up. My stomach fills with butterflies. Are my eyes deceiving me or is there something wrong with my camera? I rub my eyes and back peeking on the viewfinder. No, nothing is wrong with neither my viewfinder nor my eyes. He is the real thing. I finally found you, Asami…. My feeling? I don’t know whether I’m happy or sad with what I just saw, but, one thing I’m sure about is that I am glad to see him, and knowing that he is in good condition relieve me.
He gets into the car. No!
“Asami!” Too late. He didn’t hear it. I just too far from him and he is already inside the car. I grab my camera’s bag, running down from the rooftop, out from the old building, chasing the black limousine that starting to speed up.
“Asami!!!” Can I make it? He’s way to fast. How can I chase after a car?
STREEEETTT!!!!!!!!!!!
BANG!!!
I don’t what happen, but, I see a very bright light coming toward me and everything turns to black.

“Someone is on the rooftop, at the old building.” Kirishima shoots a glance on the building next to Club Sion, redoes back his spectacle, putting it back at its proper height.
“Who is it?”
“Takaba-san.” Hearing the name makes Kirishima stuns. Never crosses in his mind that Akihito will come to this place.
“Did Boss know about this?” Suoh turns his head a little to his back and watches his boss with a cigar on his elegant mouth.
“I don’t think so.” Kirishima nods his head.
“I want you to send Takaba-san home safely.”
“Understand!”
A black limousine stops in front of them. Suoh has taken his way to finish his task, while Kirishima walking toward the car, and open the back door for his boss. Asami gets into the car and it starts to move.

It is 15 minutes past 2 in the morning. His limo is drifting smoothly as they passing through the neon lights that lighten the dark in Tokyo city. He exhales quite a heavy sigh.
“Anything wrong, Sir?” A small snort comes through from his mouth.
“What makes you think so?”
“Hehem!” Kirishima clears his throat.
“Nothing Sir just that it is rare to see you sighing.”
“ ………..What do you view me as?”
“I’m sorry Sir.” Asami, rather than saying he is smiling, smirking is the best word. Somehow, Asami is kind of intimidating tonight. Probably something is bothering him. The conversation ended just like that. Kirishima decided to silent himself so as Asami.
Asami takes a peek on his wrist, watching the ticks of clock, counting every second that turn into minute.
A song which rather popular these day breaks the silence between them. It’s Kirishima’s phone. He puts on his Bluetooth earphone and accepts the call. Asami diverts his sight outside the tinted window; he doesn’t shows any interest on the phone call.
“Yes?... What? When?.... Okay, understood.” He puts an end to the conversation.
“Sir…” Asami turns his head a little and gives a sign for Kirishima to continue.
“Takaba-san was hit by a car.”
