Work: For the past month I have been working at Federal Mogul. It has been pretty good so far. I work from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm from Friday-Sunday with the rest of the week off. I will be signing up for overtime this next week or two in order to work another 20-ish hours during the week. I am in the assembly section, and my job is to pack the brake pads into boxes so that they can be shipped to stores and car manufacturers.

Since I have three 15 minute breaks as well as a 30 minute lunch break, I have been reading during those times. I just finished "The Color of Magic" by Terry Prachet, and now I will be reading the copy of "Dune," by Frank Herbert, that Sara's mother gave me several years ago when she was done reading it.

Life: In non-work related events, life has been mostly more of the same: being with Monica and playing games. Last week we went to Hilton Head Island for three days. The villa we rented was small to live in, but just right to visit. I really liked it. We were also a 2 minute walk away from the beach. We didn't swim in the ocean much due to seeing a ton of jellyfish, but the swimming pool was clean, cool, and not all that busy. We also saw Iron man while we were there, and we both loved it!

One place that we ate at that we really liked was a place called Eastern, which served Chinese and Japanese food. They had some top chefs and the food was rather delicious. Our waitress and host/waiter were both rather friendly, as well.

Games: As far as games go, it seems like my Mutants and Masterminds game is dead. I had fun running it, at least. The M&M game in IRC has been going quite well and fun. We didn't get to play it yesterday though. :( I ran into my friend Marc at the Renaissance Festival, and he is back in town and waiting to play 4th edition Dungeons and Dragons, so hopefully we'll have another game to play in place of mine. I'm kind of hoping for it to be in IRC as well so that we can play with Evan, since he is moving to South Dakota.

For video games, I have been playing a bunch of Phantasy Star Universe online and Mario Sunshine. Mario has been pretty fun, and PSU has been quite enjoyable. I'll occasionally run into a jerk here and there, but my experiences with it have been fairly positive.
