Hahah, after more than 2 months I decided to post some of the pictures I've taken since my stay. Not that I take much pictures anyway :p.
This is the bedroom I sleep in. Currently 3 ppl sleep there, but a few weeks ago there were 5 people sleeping there. Don't mind my colleague's leg.
My office's front door. Check out how wide it is. The plank at the stairs is for the motorbikes to park inside the office at night. That's a common practise in Vietnam because there doesn't seem to be any private parking bays.
Alot of the rich ppl live in french themed houses such as this. Property prices in Hanoi is nuts. This here house is USD500,000.
Traffic in Hanoi is wierd. Everywhere it's motorbikes. Hanoi has more than 1 million motorbikes.
This is how they transported my bed when I went to buy it.
What happens if the mattress is too big? Well... they'll transport it anyway.
How to cross a junction in Hanoi. I was so scared of this junction when I first came. Not to mention I never sat on a motorbike before.
I work at the building in the background. That's the National Convention Centre of Vietnam.
Ninjas!!
Tanks on the road, soldiers conducting excersices opposite the site I work at. Yes I live in a warzone. I have a mask, a helmet, metal boots, walkie talkie :p
Funny thing is, the place they are practicing on still has people working in it.
