So here it is. After weeks of not contributing any to the comm, I managed to make 5 little drables. Hope you like :).

Author : hiro_chan
Prompt : Magic
Team : Manchester United
Rating : PG
Disclaimer : Lies :).

Note : This is a bit pointless. OK, very pointless, but I hope stil read-able :).

1. Cristiano Ronaldo

He learnt these tricks in the streets of Madeira, under the hot sun, in the shoes that were too worn out to be used playing. He was small and skinny and the boys used to make fun of him and these tricks were his only way to get back at them.

He honed his tricks on the lush, green grass of Carrington, in the cold air and warm sun and the boots that he used to dream owning. And his mates would watch him, and asked, “How do you do it?”

He only grinned, because magician never revealed his secrets.

2. Paul Scholes

It wasn’t supposed to be this way. Afterall, it was always your wife and your children that were able to make you feel this way.

But when Ole stayed with you, his arm around your shoulder and he asked, “do you feel better now?” - you marveled at how this feeling - this warmth, this soothing comfort - washed over you as if it were her doing this, as if it were her saying those words.

Perhaps it was a kind of magic that made such things happens, but you weren’t complaining. You nodded, leaning deeper into his arm, not letting go.

3. Wayne Rooney

There’s a red-nosed reindeer outside his window - on second floor - and Wayne thinks he’s dreaming. He pinches his cheek, hard, but the reindeer’s still there, surreal under the moonlight’s silvery glow.

It’s crazy but suddenly Wayne believes this is real, and perhaps there’s Santa Claus somewhere outside and he scrambles to the window.

It slams open but there’s nothing outside, the snowfall rains gently, the snowbed below lies undisturbed. He blinks, still believing that somehow it must’ve been there. Was Santa around too? He must be.

“Make me the best striker in the world.”

Somehow, he doesn’t feel silly afterward.

4. Patrice Evra

Manchester United is all kinds of magic. Someone told Patrice so, all those times ago, and he has to say that it is correct.

From the majestic stadium and its rich history and its passionate faithfuls to Cristiano’s trickeries and Gary’s burning passion and Paul’s imaginative passes and Wayne’s skills and exuberance and Ryan’s magical achievements throughout the years - it still feels unreal to Pat.

And everytime the Gaffer hands him a spot in the first eleven on a matchday, with a smile and a gaze that says that he believes in him, Patrice knows he’s living in a wonderland.

5. Sir Alex Ferguson

Sir Alex Ferguson believed that young players rising through the academy are products of hard work and immaculate training combined with their talents.

He watched those scrawny young boys with stars in their eyes grow into competent footballers that entertained the nation, feeling pride rising in his heart as his lads showcase their capabilities on field.

But there were times when he had to look into a youngster’s dejected eyes, the boy that United going to release, that he wished he had a magic wand to wave and able to turn the boy into a successful player like his mates.

So there. It's very tough writing with word limit :p.
