“Looks that way to me.”
“Could you believe that they actually put us together in one room? They’re just making it easy for us.”
“Well, what can you say? These are the same guys who put Gaz and Becks in one room since forever, afterall.”
“Too bad it’s not king size bed.”
“What? As if that ever stops you before.”
He chuckles. “You have a point there. So, shall we make the most of their generosity?”
“Make sure you lock the door first. You never know what those lads can come up with.”

Jim Ryan said the first team was a different matter than the reserves.
Not even half an hour into the practice match in the first team now and Gary already felt his head spinning. He ran the length of the pitch, tackled like there was no tomorrow, and always seemed to get a proper bollocking in every five minutes, Schmikes and Brucey being the ones who were most eager to give him some.
And when the practice was over and he lay boneless on the grass, Brucey towered above him and grinned.
“Welcome to life in the first team, lads.”
