Title : 5 Things Wayne Wishes Cristiano Wouldn't Do
Author : hiro_chan
Fandom : Footballslash
Pairing : Cristiano Ronaldo / Wayne Rooney
Rating : PG - R
Warning : Mentions of mature situation, probable OOC
Disclaimer : Not real and no disrespect for the characters potrayed here.

Author's Note : I think I'm losing my touch. No, really. It's kind of frustating when you have so many fic ideas in your head and just cannot write it down properly. It's just as if whenever I sit down and try to write, the mood is just gone. Grr...

Anyway, for the sake of making sure I still can write, this fic is born. Now I understand why Cris/Wayne is such a pet pairing of the Unitedslash fandom, they're very sweet and cooperative when being written *gg*. Anyway, like in the warning, it has probable OOC-ness and some of the endings are kind of loose/hanging, but I really hope it's still an edible read :).

1. Wayne hates the way Cris likes to pat his head. Just because Cris is taller doesn’t mean he has the right to pat Wayne’s head. But Cris always does it - when they pass each other on the training ground, when Wayne’s silly jokes make others laugh (others would give him a big hearty slap on the back, but Cris just has to pat his head), when Cris compliments him on anything, when they celebrate a goal.

Once Wayne told Cris that he hated it, that the gesture made him feel like a little boy. Cris, slightly taken aback, only raised his delicately shaped brows and shrugged. A few weeks passed without Cris patting his head until Wayne can’t help himself - “where’s my congratulary pat?” he asks childishly when Cris only flashes him a grin and a thumb-up after Wayne scores in practice.

The question halts Cris’ - and the rest of the team’s - step and they look at him in wonder and Wayne can feel his face heating up, but he stands his ground and a split second later, Cris’ face broke into a wide grin and he saunters over to give Wayne a pat on the head.

“Don’t forget again,” Wayne says almost sulkily, and Cris chuckles, promising that he won’t.

2. Wayne wishes Cris would stop his theatrical antics. On the pitch, off the pitch, Wayne was really not someone who would make things look over dramatic and over the top. But Cris loved that kind of thing - he had this unexplainable craving to be the center of everything.

Cris’ theatrical isn’t limited only on the pitch though. Sometimes Cris does that on purpose off the pitch just to make Wayne do what Cris wants. He’ll use that pitiful little sounds, he’ll use that puppy eyes, he’ll use that sulky lips, and he’ll have Wayne completely in his hands.

Perhaps Wayne is stupid, perhaps he should just ignore Cris’ antics - but he once did that and couldn’t quell away the guilt that kept nagging him (especially when it turned out that it was true - that Cris really was having a fever and wanted Wayne to come, that Cris really wasn’t pretending).

Wayne hates that kind of guilt, so he goes along with whatever Cris wants him to do now - even if he keeps wishing that Cris would stop doing it.

3. Wayne wishes Cris would be rougher when he fucks him. Because isn’t that what a man-man relationship is all about? If Wayne wants a gentle fuck, he won’t ask Cris for it - he has it with Colleen.

But Cris will not have any of it. “You’re talking bullshit,” he scoffs and excluding some occasions, Cris is always, always gentle when he fucks Wayne. His breath would fan gently on Wayne’s neck, his hold warm and assured, his kisses long and sweet, and he is lean, hard muscles and narrow waist and soft skin and long limbs and he is so, so fucking beautiful.

And so, everytime Wayne tells Cris to do him harder, rougher, Cris will take him in his arms, and does that wonderful thing that only he can do, and Wayne will not be able to do anything but clings tightly onto the older boy and surrender.

4. Wayne wishes Cris didn’t tell him that he loves Wayne. Because Cris says it to everyone he knows, every girl he is involves with. And it isn’t Cris’ fault that he’s so easy with offering his love, no, that’s just the way Cris is and Wayne accepts that.

Wayne wishes Cris would stop saying he loves him, because Wayne doesn’t want to be in the same bracket as the rest of the girls that Cris involves with. Wayne wishes Cris stopped saying he loves him, because for Wayne, love isn’t easy, love is deeper, stronger and almost frightening.

Wayne wishes Cris didn’t tell him he loves him - even if Wayne can see the sheer intensity in Cris’ eyes that he only has whenever he says those words to Wayne.

5. Wayne hates the way Cris often has that faraway look in his face, almost dreamy as if he can’t wait to run to his dreams, his dreams that are somewhere far, far away from where they are now.

It makes Wayne upsets, worrying that Cris might move away to a place that isn’t always foggy and grey and cold. Cris tells him that it isn’t the case, that he enjoys life very much here, even though here is not always sunny and bright.

“But someday?” Wayne asks, and Cris will answer, “No one knows what will happen someday. We just have to do our best today and hope that tomorrow, someday, everyday - well, everything goes like we expect it to. Who knows, perhaps even someday, not a thing will change from today.”

But Wayne knows that nothing will stay the same and so, when he begins to worry too much, he’ll hold Cris’ hand tightly and Cris will kiss him, soothing his worry away and at least, for the time being, it should be enough.

Right, folks, how was it... :)?
