Sherlock Holmes 2009 <33333
oh, if ever a fic was to be made a movie, then sherlock holmes 2009 must be it. the whole holmes and watson interaction just scream fan service, all movie, all the time, and heck, even mary approves it and she's marrying watson!
i don't have enough words how much i love holmes and watson in this. I have watched some older holmes movie and tv series, but this, this is beyond anything and everything because the relationship between holmes and watson! and not just that but the way RDJ and jude potrayed their character is just so full of awesomeness.
RDJ, bless that man, was pitch perfect as holmes. this is holmes, sometimes lucid, often manic, sleuth, drug addicts, unable to properly function remotely normally if his brain does not has puzzles to solve, calculating and devious and totally can't do without his watson bwah so amazing <3333. I love his fight scenes, he's amazing!
and judesie! totally kills me. his watson. beyond anything I expect. His watson is wholly captivating, not only because this watson is damn good looking, but because this watson is perfectly capable of looking after himself, kicks ass in fights and brawls, provide a great bantering partner to holmes, and desperately wants to have his own life that is more holmes-free, but totally unable to leave holmes alone because they are so meant to be <33333!!! AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE GORGEOUSNESS OF HIS SUITS OMG AM TOTALLY SEXING THOSE SUITS <33333!!!!
I even love irene adler and mary! I love love love this movie - i can't wait for the sequel and am betting everything i have that from the way this movie was set and built up, there -will- be sequel for this.
oh god, i couldn't help my happy fangirlish shippy giggles all throughout the movie. you know what, for all i care, the plot and storyline could be so shitty I would still enjoy it due to RDJ and judesie's performance and the epicness or the bromance that is holmes and watson.
I'm seriously digging this pairing now. I mean, I get the camaderie and bromance feeling from reading the novel and the old movie, but never as strong and as obvious and excited like this! brb joining many holmes09 slash comms lol.
