what can I say? easy peasy :D?
I thought it was a really good performance by the boys, especially after nani was sent off. Well, granted, west ham didn't look like they try hard enough, which made it easier for united - or is it united's superiority in ball control and posession that made it look that way?
Ronaldo, back to his scoring ways again :). A goal in the third minute! lol, I expected them to score quick, but not THAT quick XD! I was just settling back on my seat and talked with my friend and suddenly ronnie scored XD. good goal, there wasn't much space there to slot the ball into, but in his usual fashion, ronnie did just well :).
And the second goal XDXD!!!! Totally not expecting it - and I bet ronnie didn't expect it to go in too! looked like the ball just kind of bounced off of his thigh, it was quite funny XD. the guy behind me suddenly quipped - "ronaldo's so good he can score with his penis" or something to that effect which left us lol-ing XDXDDD. talking about it, this pic sums it up well :

I thought scholesy, evra, tevez and park picked up where they left off after barca match - they were very, very good today. tevez's goal - fantastic strike, he managed to get himself some space under the pressure of west ham defenders and launched such a rocket. It took me by surprise, I really didn't expect it XD. I love tevez's endless energy and tenacity, him and park can run full ninety minutes tirelessly.
scholesy - top stuff again from him, the way he controlled and took care of the midfield was just a pleasure to watch, especially after nani went off. unbelievably cool under pressure, when he collected the ball in the defense, I practically was like "kick it away, scholesy, just kick it away" only for him to cooly pass the ball to either rio or wes inside our own packed penalty box. he really played the posession play, preferring to pass the ball to teammates rather than hoofing it away, and it made me (and I think some other people near me) shook our head in amused disbelief. and his tackling today has gone back to how it used to be XDXDXDDD. I honestly had no idea how he managed to avoid any booking today XD.
nani, what on earth was he thinking? he was rightfully sent off, and while I might be able to blame immaturity for the cause of him headbutting neill, the play-acting afterwards was just cringeworthy and downright painful to watch. I mean, gah, if you wanted to commit a redcard-worthy offense, do it properly and not act like a sissy by the end, ffs! it was as if after headbutting neill he suddenly realised where he was and try to bluff the ref by falling over. godawful.
anyway, good thing that west ham was not in one of those days and united managed to take care of them properly. nothing could be done about their goal, which was very well taken, even under rio's constant pressure. and carrick scoring just made me soooo happy XD! he should shoot more often, that boy, but like scholesy he always looked for opportunities to pass first.
Love SAF speech by the end, and the lap of honour X3!! Gah, no babies this time, but the players are jkjasfahagdhdfshf enough to make me happy XD.
