I... have no excuse whatsoever for this pile of sap that I wrote. I absolutely had no clue how. It just.. kind of played itself in my head and I just felt compelled to write it.

So for a change, now, some sugary sweetness fluff and sap. I hope I didn't overdo it, and hope you can enjoy it :)!

Oh my.

I didn't think the pace was fast at all!!! It was great and really written well. I especially loved this line:

There was no fans that looked at you with deep adoration, no team mate and coaches that looked at you in expectation, no opposition that looked at you with apprehension, no media that waited for you to fall.

It just felt so real and I bet Wayne really does feel like that. And for him to put down his defenses like that in this fic just makes my heart melt. Just lovely. :)

I love that part also. I tried to make Wayne's insecurity clearer and I think that particular part really help to paint the whole image :).

I'm a sucker for insecure!Wayne, really.

This fic was great, really, really great! I don't read Roo/Ron normally but I was bored so I read it and I'm glad I did.
It was so sweet and cute and AWWWWWWWWW...

tell you what, glad you gave this a chance :). (I sometimes commit the sin of reading Gerrard/Alonso fics when I'm bored out of my skull too haha..)

And no, I don't think this is 'nice enough'. This is hot, awesome, touching because not-having-to-be-strong-Wayne is so much love, awesome again and even more awesome with a big shot of ot at all too fast and beautifully written! :D *wants to get on the train now and hug you for this one* ♥

There was no one to impress and you didn't need to pretend that you were strong. You could be yourself, and even if you slipped into your weak moments, it was only him there, and he didn't mind catching you and picking you up and kissing the pain away until everything was better again.

That bit really, really made me melt. No words, just love! ♥ :)

LOL indeed it is XDXD! So many Cris/Wayne fics lately *g*.

Insecure!Wayne is my favourite, and you just know he fits that image so nicely. I mean whenever you see him off pitch doing interview and such, you just can't help... OK, perhaps that's just me haha.

And Cris. I'm not sure what's wrong with me. Many writers see Cris as the weaker one, the one who'll hurt and cry and need to be protected/taken care of, but I really see him the other way around. I really see Cris as a very strong person (still suspect to random childish sulk and outburst but hey who doesn't?), mature (or as mature as anyone in his age can be), providing and such and makes a great compatibility with insecure!Wayne.

Ahem. Anyway. I have no idea why this replyy become a mini character analysis here haha.

I wish you could just hop on the train and come here XDXD! You know when we meet we definitely should do some brainstorming for fics together *g*.

No, it's not just you. :P I'm reading his autobiography for the second time now and still think it's hilarious. I mean, it's no masterpiece language- and stylewise, but the images it creates in my brain! Can't read it too late in the evening, because any attempt to do so will most certainly end with me stuffing the pillow in my mouth to stop myself from squeeing. Must mark the best passages and bring it with me when I visit you. XD
You know when we meet we definitely should do some brainstorming for fics together *g*. And that as well! :)) I'm really really looking forward to that! Um, have we found a day yet? Otherwise, I'd maybe suggest some weekend with a United game around lunchtime? If you haven't planned otherwise, that is. :P ( ... )

I'm definitely for us watching the match together at lunch time :D! I'm still unbook so far so if you can suggest what day United has lunch time kick off that you can come over here and watch together, let me know, k :)?

And oh, I love strong ronaldo, I do. I know I've said it but whatever. He must be strong and mature, especially when you see how he deals with things and how he rises above the obstacles post world cup and the so called feud with Wayne.

I mean, with Wayne it's easy to think he perhaps is a bit insecure, what with his off pitch personna (the shy smiles!! the glances! jashhddsjkd), but Ronnie on and off pitch comes off as a very strong and confident person, as if nothing could kick him down and he could just laugh off everything people attempt to throw at him. You know? Do I make any sense *lol*??

hgsfyfrgfhjs. fic brainstorming together! what kind of fic should we think up?? which pairing?? aaw, so many possibilities X3~!
