And now it's time for the Monthly Update! What's new? Been vacationing a lot, going out to jump on the trampoline, teaching the twins to ride a bike, playing Puzzle Quest (almost done now!), getting Gina hooked on Eroica, ordering the next volume... I've also been spending my time on the computer playing Kingdom of Loathing. We've also continued planning our parody version of Saint Seiya (the topic quote is from it...) and stuff.
Egmont sent me the first volume of Death Note for Otaku. Too bad that even if I did write about it (I haven't read it before so I don't think I'm the best person to review the translation) it wouldn't make it anymore... Let's see what I'll do about it. I read it anyway and liked it. I've always known I would like Death Note, it's exactly the kind of thing I'd love. Since I don't read scanlations I haven't read it before. Looking forward to the next volume!
Another recent manga series we've started buying is Sugar Sugar Rune. Everybody think it's great, so we bought the first two volumes and the twins love it. They keep asking when the third one comes xD Too bad manga is so expensive. Well, 5-6 euros isn't a lot, but if you have to buy new installments to many series every month... I'm lucky Eroica comes out so slowly, otherwise I might not afford it.
Life goes on. The waters are still cold. I want to go swimming.
