This gives me an opportunity to show you my Berlin traffic angst photo, which I'd decided not to put into the Berlin photo-essay in my own LJ...

Tegel airport. Waiting for the bus into town. Bus looms up, taxi pulls out, bus/taxi interface happens:



Everyone was far more civilized about it than they'd be in London - nobody shouted, nobody swore. But it did mean that the bus service suddenly had a bit of a gap in it. So we went for refreshments in a beer 'n' currywurst caff converted from an old S-bahn car, along with a passing Stephane Lord, who was heading back to Montreal after photographing the dark fairies of Berlin, or something. So that was all right.

There - an exclusive Berlin story, unavailable elsewhere! I also have an amusing bicycle pic from Berlin, which will be along in my own LJ soon...
