Some weekends do 'ave em.

It was a weekend when i flowed nicely and i took tiredness in my stride and had a pleasant time. Aww.

Friday, Dylan and Rhi had their birthday bash, and I got to the city nice and early, only to discover that it wasn't booked for 7.30 but 8pm, so i walked out the door and immediately bumped into a friend, Erin, so we went to the nearby Moon cafe and had a drink. Good timing.

The meal was nice, but who cares what we ate, the company was good and i had fun taking photos of everyone and enjoying myself. Though I was a battling a headache/neckache, but I tried to ignore it, as it's just something I have to put up with.

Next we moved to Karaoke, I sang 'nothing else matters - metallica' and 'never gonna give you - rick astley' and was better at air guitar than remembering the words. After a while, my poor old brain couldn't handle it more so i went to have a rest outside and the guy at the counter gave me some water and Rhi kindly gave me some pandaol. Anyway and sat down out the front and felt sorry for the guy working there, all the bad singing he must here. Out of our group, Marnie, took the crown of best vocalist, she ruled and I thought Michael did a good version of the blur song.

Dylan gave me a lift home. Big respect to the D-Mac, considering it was his birthday and all.

Saturday, was quieter, slept in and went out for lunch and such during the day, caught some acoustic acts at the Norfolk with Dylan at night. The basement there is a lovely venue. The girl who opened, actually served me coffee the next day.

That left today, we had a energetic game of soccer and then a couple of us went to the scotsman for beer and pizza.
