I ironed enough of the premium muslin to cut out new bodice lining pieces, and basted them to the fashion fabric. Bodice seams are sewed except for the shoulders, because the front and back differ by several inches, and I'm not going to bother sewing them until I can try them on after, which requires corset, and......nope. So that will wait until another sewing party tomorrow. I need to buy some tulle for the sleeves tomorrow before everyone shows up, and with that in mind I hope to get the dress mostly - if not wholly! - put together tomorrow. Then on Tuesday - yet ANOTHER sewing party, I know, it's ridiculous - I mean to be working on either a fluffy petticoat, assuming my 1860s one is either too long or too heavy, or trimming my spaceship bonnet. Go Alice Go!
