When I was at Gettysburg this past November I trod on my hem a few times while dancing and pulled out some of the (admittedly quite loose!) stitches at the top of the hem facing. I was very prompt about washing all of my clothes upon my return, but the ballgown skirt has been hanging from a floor lamp ever since, waiting for me to pay it some attention. Understandably, I haven't felt a pressing need to fix the hem. Blech.
But last night and tonight I finally did it! Helped along by my actually watching some movies, for once -- my TV-show-winter-hiatus-withdrawal made me turn to movies on my 'to-watch' list -- I just now finished it and put it away in the closet. Huzzah!
Now to work on the thing I have been PLANNING to work on for this challenge. The initial drive is gone, since I planned it over a year ago, and I'm newly intimidated at the thought of it, so it's hard to get started....but I really need to get my butt in gear. Go go go!
