I've got my study blinders on
There are so many fun projects that I could have worked on in the last month or two and didn't. I was just completely disinterested in sewing, and I wonder if it was a subconscious realisation that I SHOULD NOT be sewing, due to my upcoming GRE. I did, however, allow myself to work on my blackwork, as it involved little chunks of time rather than an entire afternoon - and the frustrations of trying (and invariably failing) to make things fit. Yesterday I ignored my blackwork and did a bunch of review; this morning before work the same, and tomorrow is Study For the GRE Day. After I take - and hopefully do not too badly on - the GRE on Monday, I will be able to do Projects! I'm very excited... perhaps more excited for that than for the GRE to be behind me. Then of course my problem will be what to work on first. Something 20's? My 9-gored skirt? Figuring out a bib-front dress so I can use the lovely cotton sari I acquired? Ooops...I need to stop speculating and study!
