BORED
Bored, bored, bored. I did a bit of sewing on my sacque today - the side seams on the skirt, and basted the skirt pleats to the lining, but I dursn't go any further without someone actually helping me fit it. Y' see, as I pinned more bits to the lining the first bits - which were nice and smooth and fitty - got less smooth and less fitty. And I want this to actually fit me, not look like something made by a n00b. It is, kind of, but it's not like I've never done any costumey things, and I know that things need to be fitted, and I'm not just making something out of a pattern packet without any adjustments, so I want it to reflect that! That said, I've stopped working on it until I can draft someone to help me with it, and I'm a bit crampy and no one's on FB because they're at Cairnwood (which would have been rather too much for me to figure out at the moment, having no suitable shoes and no hair-doing skillz AT ALL), and I have to be at work at 6 tomorrow which I'm actually rather pumped about for various reasons, but that means I probably shouldn't go see The Hobbit at midnight tonight. Poo. And so, without anything to really work on, I. Am. BORED.
