I pretty much need to make All The Corset Covers. I really do. Remembering how my corset showed through my (rather thin) dress last fall reminds me.
I also need to make a new chemisette/sleeve combo for Remembrance Day at Gettysburg this fall. I borrowed Sara's one day last time we went (because mine were already being borrowed!) and I really liked them, and it clearly doesn't hurt to have a spare set lying around.
But the next few things I really need to do are
- finish the mitts I started for a coworker
- make a sea-themed quilt square for another coworker (about to graduate with a degree in marine somethingsomething); this is the graduation gift from everyone
- put onto my printed anglaise the silk ribbon which I bought for this very purpose several years ago at Fort Fred. The sleeves are boring and need ribbon! This needs to be done for the Sewing Do at Amanda's Indian King Tavern on the 29th.
- make up the strawberry sundress
- dye my ichimegasa black. Currently scoping out tubs big enough to dye it in.
- make a 1940s dress for the World War II weekend in Reading in June. I have backup if necessary but I'd like to make something that's fitted to me.
- put a waist tape in my 1880 corset. Not sure how I forgot to do this when I was making it, but it needs one.
- put lace on my 1880 corset. It's a pretty bad job of a corset but I have lace that will do, so I might as well make it pretty until I get around to an improved version, right? I won't need this corset again until June, so that's last on the list.
