Steady artin', yo
I've mentioned previously about how I've started to get more heavily into cartooning again, and how this is somehow resulting in people paying me for my illustrative work, a prospect that places me in an emotional state somewhere between moderate intimidation and sheer, unbridled terror. But this state has at least pushed me towards attempting to improve my art to the point where people will not hunt me down and maim me for somehow stealing illustration gigs from people who have dedicated significantly more of their time and effort into perfecting their art than I have.
In any case, this is a drawing I did to accompany the Jan/Feb issue of Metal Edge's review section. It was suggested that I do an illustration of Axl Rose as an anime character, and I am happy with the way it turned out despite the fact that I am not the hugest fan of Chinese Democracy or Dragon Ball Z. (He does kind of look like Mega Man, actually.)
