Ironmen of Cooking
In honour of the premier of Feasting on Asphalt with Alton Brown, we'll be having a cook-off.
Instead of having a certain secret ingredient, we'll be using only products that can be found at a specific gas station, which is where all our shopping will be done.
There are, of course, a few exceptions to this rule:
-dried spices
-water
-oils and extracts
-(broths and stocks?)
Other than that, you are limited to what you can purchase at said gas station.
As for a theme, we'd like to go with the classic dive road-side dinner style, but that isn't required.
The cooking will be done at home, and we'll bring the food to a party/picnic/bonfire/death orgy which will be taking place on July 29th, to fit with the initial airing of the show.
You are to bring a list of the ingredients used, as any non gas station components will result in disqualification.
Judging will be an anonymous vote, but one can not vote for themselves.
In order to eat food, you have to make food.
So get cooking.
