Okay so let me say that this isn't about vegan/vegetarians in general.. that's a whole 'nother can of worms that I won't bother getting into at the moment. Just certain ones I'm gonna go into now. First, what annoys me, for no good reason I'm sure, is how they need to specify what they eat/cook is vegan

and do you still talk to these people?
my immune systems pretty cool, these days.
i don't know if you know i'm not vegan anymore, just plain ol' vegetarian.
yr totally right with the fuck peta.
i was expecting this rant to be worse but i agree with most of it.
some fucking people just like to do shit to be different. like the oh yeah, i made VEGAN macaraoni and cheese. VEGAN. don't forget i'm VEGAN. hey, is this bread (something obviously vegan) VEGAN? because i'm VEGAN.
i work in cafe at work sometimes and these same people come in and buy the most ridiculous drinks because it makes them feel special.
'i would like a double skinny mocha, extra foam, heated at 170 degress with soy.'
and they love it if yr like 'wha?' and they can repeat it.
but when yr like ok. they get all upset theyre not getting attention and they're like did you remember the foam? the 170? its soy, remember!?
you should hit me up on aim sometime and we can talk about how much people still suck.

Glad to hear yours is doing fine. I know you aren't anymore, I read it in your journal and you were one of the people I considered under 'knowing-that-got-sick.'
And you see my point exactly. People feel the need to point it out to make them feel special.
And I'd talk to you on aim but you change your damn sn so much.

I remember walking to class one day and seeing an older man go up to some white kid with dreads. I hear him go, "Wow, your hair.... I've never seen anything like that outside of National Geographic!" I cringed and practically ran from the situation. I could almost hear his ego crushing things behind me, and I knew I might have to do something horrible to deflate it and save myself if I stuck around. It almost made me wish I'd gone with Marist.
