This is quite a nasty storm we got over here today!

The streets are flooded. I didn't even try to venture out of the house. I've been hiding out from hoomans.

DH may have been the one who davened for help, but Hashem knew that YOU were the one who was needing it most at that moment. The fact that you weren't even davening for help means that you weren't even able to ask.

The Catholics can tell you, there is a long, long history of the scent of flowers, and especially roses, being associated with saints, angels and holy appearances. It has often been reported that when the coffins of saints are opened, that they smell very strongly of spring flowers, and that the scent of roses comes with the appearance of the Virgin Mary. These stories go back many hundreds of years.

Furthermore, the fact that you couldn't see his feet really makes me think that he was an angel, because in the Kedusha, when we say "Kadosh, kadosh, kadosh" we rise up on our tiptoes with our legs together because we are trying to be like angels. According to the Talmud, angels only have a single leg/foot type of structure when they are in their true form. They do not "set foot" on the earth and walk around as we do.

I think that you are a very special person, and so does Hashem. Obviously, He wants to to convert, and He's trying to help you. Don't run away now!

That's weird... not only did I not see his feet; he didn't sit down either. If he sat down, I would have really noticed the no feet thing.

ITA, I was in such a dour mood for weeks that I was pulling away from everything.

DH thinks he came for me too... I'm really; really frightened at this point because he said "Moshiach is close; he's coming soon."

I haven't had a seizure since Friday morning. :knocks on plywood/mdf:

Plus, DH shook his hand.

woah...
