FAQ: HOW DO YOU FORMAT (HTML) YOUR FICS
i've been receiving this question more than once, and i apologize for the delay, but i decided to address all of these concerns in one post.
before everything, please know that even after all of these years of being on LJ and the interwebs in general, i am still on the rough when it comes to html and formatting. so, there must be an easier, better process to go about the way i format my fics. however, this is what i have been doing so far. you can choose to use this method or not.
first of all, if you want instructions on formatting, like the italics, bold, spacing, font face, that kind of stuff, i suggest that you go to this tutorial posted by linnhe. she gives a clear step by step on how to edit everything in microsoft word even before posting everything on LJ. if you are not using microsoft word to write, i'm not sure how to help you. sorreh, chinggu.
as for how i position my fic at the center of the page as opposed to just one big splat all over the page--

- operate on the html tab
- before pasting the fic, place this code at the very beginning: "
" - you can edit the font face to whatever font you want to use.
- then at the end of your fic, terminate the codes by placing this: "
