thank GOD for the solstice!!! and nudity. and titanic. and sex and the city. and dancing and laughing under the stars with some crazy hippies. THAT was truly the beginning of summer.
now i just need to get me some more babysitting jobs, plus de bellydancing, moins de algebra and maybe some fine gentlemen thrown in there.
oh, and janice joplin. she really makes summer feel summery.
i'm gonna miss kata. she's in massachussettes now, being all artsy and GONE. i usually spend summers in sonoma with her bad self, but not this time. bugger.
what really is trippin me out about this summer is that i'm not in any drama productions. i'm usually in a musical at around this time. but this summer i decided not to. i think i thought that i'd have better things to do, plus i didn't want to deal with all the little kids and the watered-down, censored version of the musical HAIR. and go figure, when i skip the audition and go on my merry way, i hear about an incredibly beautiful boy who auditioned. i plan on sitting in on some rehearsals, lemme tell you. at least i might be helping out with costumes for it, which will make me happy.
