nothing of significance.

So freaking tired. I think I might fall asleep at my desk. That's it, I'm having coffee and chocolate for breakfast.

Unrelated to anything, if you go to this article on the Miss Universe pageant, you can see the pictures of the runner-ups. The winner was Miss Puerto Rico (who passed out 40 minutes into her reign) but Miss USA made it to the top 5. She's second from the right in the picture of the runner-ups, wearing her Project Runway dress from the second episode challenge!

Okay, fine, I'll just post the picture. The one and only time I post about a pageant in my LJ that isn't a disdainful diatribe. Not that I've ever posted about pageants before, but if I do again, you can bet it'll be a diatribe.

Okay, since I started it, I might was well talk about TV for a minute. I've been watching baseball, Project Runway, and just last week we started getting caught up on Rescue Me. We've only watched the first episode of Season 3, but Nicole, Josh, Matt and I just sat there going, "oh no, oh no, oh no. Why do we watch this show?" It's just so damn good, and so damn horrible. I'm starting to be able to read the show, and the 'twist' at the end of this most recent episode I guessed last year. I said it a couple minutes before the end of the episode, and the other three turned to look at me in horror. But I was right. I need some Rescue Me icons, I think.

Wait, the Seattle Mariners have a pitcher named Putz? That's too funny. Haven't seen a baseball game in days, reading a few articles on this weekend's games. Glad to read that Youk's getting some hits again. He's always so hard on himself - when he gets out he makes lots of angry, disappointed faces, and sulks in the dugout. I read a quote at the end of an article from Mike Timlin - I suspected he was religious, but man, he talked a LOT about God. Timlin had a lot to say about why they didn't win yesterday, and he attributed some of that to God knowing that the Mariners needed a win, and that he's sure God will be back with the Sox soon. I have to say that I've known for a while that God isn't that interested in baseball, and she's definitely NOT a Red Sox fan.
