You don't need to hide my friend, for I am just like you.

I'm currently sat on the train on my way to the LT field. It's quite nice getting the train on your own. It really gives you chance to think, not just think about stuff but I think the enforced seclusion gives you chance to think deeply.
I recently cut off some long standing friends because they were being Shitty. This has left me with feeling harsh, however I haven't been upset about their failures anymore. I think for me it boils down to weighing up the pain of losing a 7 year relationship and the pain of watching a friend of 7 years repeatedly betray you.
Also after a conversation with Ben (who seems to know how to solve all my life issues) I think I'm going to give it one last go with my mum. I think looking retrospectively she isn't an evil person, just broken.
She was abused as a child and I think her way of processing that was to emulate the behaviour. For the cycle to end I think it's going to take a lot of patience and positivity and I'm up for the challenge. It'll be good for me to finally get some closure. After spending six years keeping my distance I think I'm finally the person I need to be to tackle that problem.
It may be a stupid plan but Ben is usually right about these things, I'd be silly not to listen to him.
I'm keen for this event, I hope we don't get anymore deaths as I really want to sort group stuff out properly.
