(no subject)
Good morning everyone.
Well, I'm just shy of a month this time. Oh well, I've been busy.
At this point in the semester, all my classes suck. All. This is probably my second worst semester ever and I don't have time to be slacking off if I want to graduate. It's horrible. I'm not going to run down each class for it's faults, that would just be a wasted effort.
So I'm going to talk about things that make me happy.
Last night, a bunch of us found out it was another friend's birthday. We had to celebrate. Which of course ment drinking. I didn't drink much but my roommate Derek ended up with a lot. He won't be attending classes today.
Before all that though, I watched Heroes. I'm starting to wonder why. The first season was awesome, the second wasn't very good but the creator actually publicly apologized for it so I forgave them. This season is just not exciting as it could be. And of course I hate Claire. She actually ruins every scene she is in. Every. One. How does one person even do that? You'd think one of ten would be okay, but it's not. When she's Future Claire she talks through her teeth the whole time. Every line is gritted angry that just gets lost when her voice and other facial features seem sweet and caring. The Present Claire just whines about how bad her life is. Even Hero Nakamura isn't helping very much. How sad is that? Him and Peter have both dropped the Hashin, which we all thought was great. Anyways, I'll keep watching.
So far these past two months Derek and I have watched all of Firefly, Outlaw Star, GTO, Samurai Jack, we're working on Berzerk but the biggest deal in the anime world (which I care very little for anymore) is that I've now watched Cowboy Bebop front to back, and guess what, I stand by my original statement. "I'm sure it's great but the ending ruins the WHOLE thing." The episodes leading up to the ending were amazing and I really liked the characters. Then three or four episodes from the end the show nose dives, Faye cries, Ed and Ein leave, and Spike dies. Why would they do that? Ruined everything they had built up. So I still don't like Cowboy Bebop but now at least I've watched the whole thing... I guess.
Still need to finish the first season of Torchwood.
I think I mentioned we started our new DnD game and that we're pirates. If I didn't, we're fucking pirates bitches.
I'm almost done writing the pre-alpha version of our Legend of Zelda: RPG book. Once it's all typed up and reworked maybe it'll be done. Then on to play testing, which is my favorite part. I'm sure I'll upload it somewhere for other people to look at.
Anyways, I'm sure there's lots more but other then that I'm hungry and done with this.
