okay quick saw Batman, it was good. alittle too predictable but it was good. Hellboy 2 was worth seeing, Handcock let me down after the halfway point.
don't feel this is important. Mostly this is for me in the coming years as something to reflect back on and help me remember.

so Animal Kingdom was a bust. Jery and I woke at 7 and started moving. We ate breakfast before leaving then got on a bus for Disney World's new park. All we really wanted to do was ride Everest. The line was crazy at 8 am so we fast passed it for two hours later! Two hours in that park. It was almost horrible. We did ride a Dinosaur ride that was awesome, for us at least.
1. Hoggins from CSI was the video clip and voice talking to us during the ride.
2. sitting in the front was a good choice.
While sitting in the back few rows you wouldn't notice it, but after the meat eatting dinosaur jumps out of the pitch blackness, he was actually arms lenght from us. GIANT FUCKING DINO TEETH GOING TO EAT US! First ride ever that's scared me. Stupid dinosaur.
If you don't know, Animal Kingdom was build and landscaped just right to hold in/make more humidity. So already stupidly humid Florida becomes extra extra humid. It was misriable.
We saw some other things but really only Dinosaur was interesting. Even Everest was only kinda neat. Hate that dinosaur ride. I wish we could have riden it again.
We took some time doing something but met up with Jery's mom and everyone for a charcter meal in Epcot at the Garden Grill. It's a neat restaurant where the seating area rotates and makes a full spin in about an hour. There are sceans and murals to look at. We saw Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. I was excited for Chip and Dale. I love those two. We saw each character so many times because we took awhile to eat. The food wasn't very good. We then rode the ride below the restaurant called Living with the Land. Jery and I had actually watched the second half of the ride on Food Network while it talked about how Disney grew most of it's own food, 60%. It was awesome to be riding the ride we'd seen. It was very impressive. The next day, while Jery and I had lunch the line for this ride was refuckingdiculous. We spend the next few hours running around Epcot with Jery's mom, John and Draven. It was okay but we didn't get much done. We rode the Little Nemo ride which, when i was a kid was a neat submarine ride. Now it just shows clips from the movie as the ride. Lame. We did see Turtle Talk with Crush. It was interesting but meh. This and the Monster's Inc Laugh Floor actually respond to your questions and reactions. I'm not going to say how but it's neat. We moved on to the Magic Kingdom with everyone and did some kicking around. Me and Jery were leading trying to get everything done.
At some point we must have split up or something cause me and Jery went to watch the updated version of the Tiki Room. I like the old one better, without Iago and Zaazo.
After dark the Parade of Lights started. Jery and I would have none of this so we went and rode the Haunted Mantion. Awesome. That's all I can say. They had the cutest outfits for the cast members to wear, the updates they did just improved the ride but didn't change the old feeling or anything. One of the best Disney had. After leaving the ride, the Parade was slowly ending. We were on the opposite side of the street from when we started, which was great because they had an Alice in Wonderland float and the Alice was facing our direction. It's the little things in life that make you happy. The night ended with Wishes. Probably the greatest fireworks show i have ever seen. Ever. Ever. It was so amazing I can't really put it in words. I cried. That's all I have. I still cry thinking back on it. It was beautiful.
I don't remember going to sleep too soon after this. the park closed at 11, we probably got to the resort around 12. Maybe we showered or something. It's kinda fuzzy.

Sunday.
This time, we woke up at 6 to be ready for Epcot's early hours. We desided to eat at the park when things would open, it seemed like it was going to be good planning. So we get there and have to wait. During our wait for the park to open, Jery's mom joined us. Which was good. her mom probably hadn't been having much fun with Draven and John. So the park opens and the ball is closed. what the hell? the MAIN attraction is broken down ALL DAY! ALL FUCKING DAY! The hell you going to open the park an hour early and the main ride is broke. More rant to follow. So we moved on, rode Soaring with Patrick Warborton as our guide. Awesome. Rode Test Track which I actually remember them showing the concept drawings of on the Disney Chanel when i was a kid. The ball (Spaceship Earth, i know, it's the ball) was still closed. So we desided to wonder the world pavilion. So we started in Mexico and went that way. It was blocked about three countries in for some special breakfast. Whatever, go the other way, it's a circle. Soon we start to notice nothing's open. Nothing. NOTHING. I asked a worked, the world pavilion doesn't open til 11. So recap, got to the park before 8. Park opens at 8, usually 9. The ball is closed down as are half the other rides and the fucking world pavilion doesn't open til 11. Bullshit is what i say. Bullshit. You do not open a park an hour early and have nothing open for three hours!
So we had some really good sushi at the Land Pavilion. It was amazing. We left for MGM.
Now, they've renamed MGM to Hollywood Studios, but really, i don't care. It's MGM.
So at MGM we wanted to:
1. See the Honey I shrunk the kids play area
2. ride Tower of Terror
3. ride the Rockin' Rollercoaster
Thanks to more rain (and a reservation for food) we only got to do the first two about other things not on the list. We rode the Great Movie Ride first. It was mostly as I remembered it. They had drained the water from the track and added a driver/guide to the movies. She even got off and we got "car jacked" by another girl. It was neat. The play area was mostly as I remembered from when i was a kid. They'd removed the Roger Rabbit Warehouse which was sad but i was glad the play area was still there. We watched the Muppit 3d movie, which of all the 3d movies we watched was the best (if not really the only good one). Got in line for Tower of Terror and met a very nice couple from San Antonio. We talked to them about stuff most of the way through the line. They told us to slow down on the parks (we'd slept maybe 5 hours at this point) but they have a time share which means they get to come back next year. We don't. -tear- The ride was really fun. After getting off we found out we didn't have enough time to do anything else as we had to get a bus to Epcot for our lunch (3something) reservation. As we were leaving we got to see the Block Party Bash. best parade ever! The dancers were wearing such cute outfits and it was just awesome. I'm sad we didn't have time to stop and watch but what we saw rocked.
While waiting for the bus, we find out Jery's mom went to the restuarant 30 minutes early. So that cut almost a full hour off our time. We didn't make it. We gave up and went to take a nap at the hotel. It was only suppost to last an hour but we ended up sleeping until 10. I think we just died.
It was raining when we got up but we took off for food and the Magic Kingdom again. Extra hours was the greatest thing ever. If you go to Disney World, stay at a Resort, it's so worth the money. Because of the rain Wishes was pushed back a few hours, until 11. We got to see Wishes from Main Street USA. Standing in the center. It was so amazing. It was our second time seeing them but it was still so impressive. Even just thinking back makes me want to start crying. I bought a Stich stuffed plush because I love Stich. The night was spent with us running amuck in the Magic Kingdom again. We rode Space Mountain again and everything else we'd missed. It's a Samll World, which now that i'm older isn't as bad as i remember. Piper Pan's ride was awesome. cause you start out in pirate ships, then they start flying. Snow White's Scarey Ride replaced Mr. Toad's Wild Ride which was sadness. I know because I could remember the placement/set up of the front part. We ended our night without knowing what time it was. We were in a haze when some workers started hearding us out. It was almost 3 and the park closed at 2. We finally returned but couldn't/didn't want to go to sleep so we spent the rest of the morning in the Hot Tub relaxing away our pain. It was wonderful. We went to bed probably around 6, cause it wasn't sun up yet but it was working on it and we desided against going to early hours at MGM after our Epcot experiance.

Monday:
Monday morning we had an O'hana Breakfast. O'hana means family and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten (did I mention I love Stich). This was a Hawai'ian theamed breakfast with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto (who was wearing a different collar from when we met him at the Garden Grill). Jery bought a Stitch plush too and the lady seating us told us we could get their signatures on the ears if we asked. We were acting like 5 year olds with excitement. When the characters (all of them) saw that we both had the dolls and were beaming with excitement they sighed. I think the Lilo actually lost faith in the human race after seeing us. You could tell through the costum. I mean, two full grown adults bounching around with the same doll hoping the get signitures and hugs from Lilo and Stitch. I'm sure it was a sight. We rode the Monorail to and from the breakfast. We went to Downtown Disney for some last minute shopping for Jery's dad. We went Epcot to finish our trip. We finally got to ride Spaceship Earth (the ball) and the line was pretty quick. We started walking the World Pavilion and was going to ride O'Canada with Martin Short as our guide but the show wasn't for 10 minutes and we just didn't have the time. Which sucked. Alot. Jery got to see the Beatles cover band for a little bit as we crossed through England. We finally got to eat and the Noodle shop in Japan. I had a Kirin beer (my second drink on Disney property, life goal acomplished/surpased) and beef curry. Then we rode the boat across the pond, got on a bus and started our journey home.
Slept almost the entire plane trip from Orlando to New Orleans. The attentant brought me a sprite, then took it away. It seems there was a gap in time there but I still didn't get to drink it. Hooker. Slept the plane ride to Love Feild. Spelt most of the drive to my parents house. Explaned a good portion about my trip to them for an hour. Drove to Denton.
Time home: 3am Tuesday morning.
Amount of sleep: roughly 10 between thursday and Monday. 12 counting the hours on the plane and car.
Condition of apartment at 3am after 10/12 hours of sleep: Electricity had been turned off for three days. All food stored in freezer and frig spoiled to hell. PISSED THE FUCK OFF. I took a good protion of it out on the woman at the electric company's 24hour problem line. I have a problem that if my power is turned off, the night crew can't fucking turn it back on. I spend the next 5 hours sleeping in a Days Inn (it was over 100 inside my apartment with the smell) and called the morning crew (8am). Just before 3pm, I have power again. Fuck them. Fuck their timing and fuck them ruining all my food and not caring. Bastards. I was so pissed. They did waive the "turn my fucking power on now" fee because when I called I didn't say a date, I just assumed when I say my roommate is turning off the power on the 11th of this month and I'm still living there, that i would like to have the power turned back on in my name the same day and month. Was so mad.
I then slept. and slept. and slept. I think i'm still trying to catch up.
The trip rocked and I'm loving my new memories and Stitch doll.

now to edit this to a form that I can send to my parents. you know, one that doesn't involve swearing and emotional bits (like about the fireworks or O'Hana). Fun times. I also need to check with Jery, i may have missed something that needs talking about.
