Job AHHHHHHH!
Star Wars was better this time! Some good parts, some reallllly bad lines (Obi-Wan "He killed... the younglings!" Padme "Not the younglings" ..... remeniscent of "Not my gumdrop buttons!!!" from Shrek) I got a job, I got a job! Yaaay me! I can now pay for my prospective computer! Actually, I got two jobs, one is official, at the PetStop in C-ville, the other is a maybe @ the Movie Gallery -- I got the job, but so did Andrew, and if MGallery conflicts with working @ the PetStop I'm definitely dropping it & surrendering all my hours to Drew.
Ahhh, the canoe. It's huge. I had to sand the entire thing this week and I'm still not done yet. This weekend I get to patch the holes with fiberglass, sand it again, then repaint it. Is it really worth all this just to have one working canoe? We have two, the front of the other one has to be replaced. Ah well, if I can convince dad to spend that much money on paint we hope to make it black w/ purple flames, instead of the ugly green it was before (and that I was covered with for most of the week -- if you ever sand anything w/ fiberglass in it, wear long sleeves! It may be warm, but it will save you days of pain.)
Hmmmm, orientation for FSU is next week. Two days long, yippee skippy. Why is this not exciting? Oh, that's right... Waiting in lines, scheduling things, filling out paperwork, wasting lots of money on victuals and words. Yeah, I'll be happy once classes start. But not for this. Well, maybe I'll be excited once I get there..... ~.^
