several miles later
and now another move. sort of. i'm in asheville for the summer now. i should start my internship this week if people actually call me back. if not, i'm really screwed. this one credit hour "class" cost over 580 bucks. i should open up a school and charge people this much. i'd be rich.
i got a 4.0 this past semester. yep, a perfect score. there is really no other point in telling you this besides me bragging. the funny thing is i went to a workshop thing earlier in the semester and one of the girls leading it said it was her goal to get a 4.0 one semester and she talked about how she was gonna motivate herself and work really hard. i don't know if she ever will, but me, the kid who really didn't care about this semester or getting a perfect score, did. if you look up irony in the dictionary, you'll see this story. what i'm getting to is, that you shouldn't go for a stupid score, just do your best. if your best is a 3.7 don't beat yourself up over it, you're not better or worse than anybody else. except in the eyes of the college, then i'm better than you because i got a 4.0 and you didn't.
today the parents and i hiked up to rattlesnake lodge, where thankfully there is no abundance of rattlesnakes. if this was the case, i would say "fuck that," and have the place air-striked because snakes are one of the many things that scare the piss out of me. anyways, it was fun and we just escaped the rain. we also went to see art school confidential. see it if only for the stereotypes. glorious stereotypes.
i'm still slowly reading sandman. i love that series. i love how everything mentioned in it relates to everything else in a way. i also picked up haunted now that it's in paperback. i'm playing a lot of wow as asheville = no friends = no real life contact. not that orlando is looking much better with some people lying to you and some people ignoring you. but when you have everything you think you want, the extras get trimmed. i'll be the first to say "you're welcome."
i want to get tattooed again this summer. if you want to bounce around ideas so i won't change my mind k5million times let me know. it would be appreciated.
