shoot out the lights
i haven't eaten meat for a couple days, and it's been pretty awesome. i was looking through the chef boyardee section at the grocery store, and they all appeared to have meat in them. then i found an organic, meat free spaghetti o's like thing. but they were shaped like bunnies. mmm. tasty. bought some couscous to make sometime. i should get some tabouli mix and make some of that too. i wanna make some tofu helper, but it calls for a pound of "ground beef" and i don't know how expensive an entire pound of tofu would be.
school is for suckers. i owned my events test today in 10 minutes. and the number of things to do in accounting has gone from 2 quizzes and 2 tests before the final to 1 take home quiz and a test. i have a 100 in that class right now anyways. awesome. everything else is pretty easy, just that group presentation in event class, and a feasibility study for restaurant management. feasibly will i do it? no, i'll procrastinate.
matt coleman never ceases to amaze me. from last week at work:
him: so have you heard of this band called jump, little children?
me: (stunned, thinking about defecating myself in glee during this short pause)
me: i love jump, little children!!! i'm the one that tells everybody about them!
and then later...
him: so there is the girl that comes in here that i have a crush on
me: oh, do tell
him: her name is "blankity"
me: is her last name "blankblankblak?"
him: yes!
me: i have a crush on that girl too!!
*note that i changed her name to blankity blankblankblank. i was amused. i also like that by working at a video store, i could look up her phone number and address and stalk her. but i don't, that would be wrong. and stalkers never get any play.
i love spring. i love going the the second hottest school in the county. the girl that sits a few seats in front of me in event class has a tattoo on her back. i had seen it poking out of her shirt several times. but today she wore a spaghetti strap top and i got to see all of her backpiece. oh man. this girl is cute. and she's not one of the cookie cutter girls that saturate the hospitality program.
as first quarter '06 draws to a close, what have been some of your picks for good releases? i've enjoyed these a lot:
