Today was good.

I got a text this morning on the way to school from Jordan. It said, "Can I have your address?"

I had more laughs than I've had in a very long time at lunch due to a wonderfully sexually disgusting group conversation.

Grandpa finally had his surgery. It lasted 10 hours, the doctor looks like he's been run over by a truck, and he said he'd never seen anything like it. He was still under the knife while Mom and I had to go watch Juliet to a musical performance at school, and Mom was really anxious about how crowded it was. We couldn't talk to dad on the phone about what was going on with Grandpa because we didn't want to interrupt. So it was an incredible relief to see Dad and know that Grandpa got through it alive and no mistakes were made.

I have an appointment with Buck Cochran tomorrow after school to talk about all my faith issues. I don't know how that will go. There will probably be a lot of crying.

My wrist is healed enough now that it can't just be parted open.

Dr. Perrin (therapist) came up with a great method for me to not have anxiety attacks whenever I try to go to school. I arrive at least 20 minutes early every morning and shut myself up in an empty room with some music and my knitting. It helps me settle into being at school before I have to work, and I'm not freaking out anymore.
