happy mardi gras!

first of all i would like to wish everyone (especially all of the ex-louisianians) a happy mardi gras! i had my fill of carnival fun this weekend at the spanish town parade on saturday. caught a fuckload of beads. and got wasted :). we were out there for like 2 hours, b/c there were 85 floats, and my friend kept refilling my drink. i kinda didn't notice at first, then it started to catch up....yeah... it was fun :). then on sunday dave and i went to port allen to a parade with all of his family. i got to meet mimi and mooney and margaret lane and charlene. but they're all super nice. i hope everyone is having a wonderful 2005 so far. mine is pretty hectic with all of the school shit. but it's cool that the pressure is pretty much off now. except for if i don't get into grad school. then i'm pretty much screwed.
so, i have a question. does anyone else agree that whipped cream tastes sooooo much better straight from teh can?
