(no subject)
so.....this is a momentous occasion in schwartzberg history: my parents adopted a new dog!!! we suffered two great losses this past summer with the passing of hunter and maggie, and so it is indeed wonderful to expand our happy not-so-little family. so i give you roscoe/frank/sam (we haven't decided on a name yet):

and unfortunately i haven't figured out how to add images, so you'll have to follow the link. and there are other pictures too, so ignore those. but not the one of magnus on his pillow - i made it for him! i embroidered an M on it, too. or the pictures of the civil war reenactment. that was just weird.
anyhow. so....my parents totally weren't into getting another dog. it was so hard for them with hunter and maggie, i think they just weren't ready for a new one. BUT at work the other day, a nurse was talking about how she found this corgi wandering around her neighborhood, and put up flyers and stuff for a week or so, but nobody responded. so she was going to bring him to the shelter, but then someone who knows my dad heard "corgi" and told the nurse to contact my dad instead. crazy :). so he's really underweight and has heartworms and intestinal parasites. but the vet thinks he's strong enough to be okay. so that's the story of roscoe/frank/sam!
