Freddie was the front man of Queen. His charisma
and stage presence combined with one of the
most powerful and beautiful voices in rock
and roll made him the star of stadium rock.
Was the only rock star to sing with an opera
diva. His singles and his work with Queen
have broken barriers. His song Bohemian
Rhapsody is still ranked as the greatest song
of all time, and is the only song to top the
British charts in two separate decades. He
was known for being funny, talented, caring,
and eccentric. Freddie tragically died of
AIDS in died November 24th, 1991. The
remaining members of Queen held the largest
tribute concert there had ever been in his
memory, and to spread AIDS awareness and all
profits were donated to AIDS charities.
