for the summer break themed Rock DJ challenge at gleek_land.
So I can hear you rolling your eyes. Yes, you read that right. "Oh noes, not again- not another Jesse St. James mix, what are you, woman, obsessed?"
To be fair, I totally might be at the stage where I want to kidnap him and keep him in my lair forever thanks, nowheretogo26>_> but a summer break theme is custom-made for him! Summer of '08: he knows he's leaving small-town Ohio behind for the City of Angels, he's cruising on a high of having won four consecutive Nationals trophies with him at the helm of at least one, he's rendered some of the best performances of his life, he fell for a girl who was him reincarnate, he manipulated her and broke her heart, did a nearly autobiographical rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody under her nose, practically singing to her, and to him, his star is on the verge of going supernova.
You got pregnant this year and/or found out incredible/shocking things about your family? That's just one dramatic thing for you to reflect on this summer. This guy, his summer break is still going on, and it sounds epic.
In my defence, I was trying to go for a plain, simple, focused St. Berry manip as cover art, and then halfway through my finished product looked like some sort of Gothic vampire AU Anne Rice or Charlaine Harris, not Stephanie Meyer; True Blood not Vampire Diaries tyvm sorry florencia7 and I had to forcibly get back on track. I did end up making a creepy vampire AU mix... >_<
