Tired of Insomnia
I can't sleep. Surprise surprise. The house is quiet, everyone snoozing and here I am on the computer, still. I guess that it just isn't my time to sleep yet. It's funny, I look forward to this quiet time all day and now here it is. I tried sleeping already, even tried my guided imagery cd but no luck. I had to get out of bed.
I just remembered, I have to write a check for the newspaper to put out tonight for our carrier.
My new allergy meds have gotten my schedule mixed up too. So has HH new work shifts which are great, but still a major change.
We hired a sitter for the first time for a dinner tomorrow. We are so not used to paying a sitter. We are spoiled, but I'm liking the dependability of it all.
I have been sleeping much better during the day. Knowing that the kids are at school lets me rest for an hour or so of quality sleep. At night, I feel like I'm on call. Like I'm sleeping with one eye open, just waiting for one of them to wake up and need something.
It has been so hot. I'm looking forward to fall.
