yesterday was free icecream day at ben & jerry's.
yummy.
it was steph and steve's last night in the US.
a small group got together at their house to wish them well and it was a little bittersweet for everyone.
i'm excited for steph because i know how much she wants to go home to her mom and her cat and her white leather couch, but i know how much steve loves new york and i will of course miss them.
however, with them on their way to the other side of the globe, opportunity continues to bloom for me and jared, and the youth as a whole. we're really excited for our meeting this week (no one's come up with a name yet) and can't wait to start moving in some sort of direction that fits us all. we're gunna do a little brainstorming thursday, about things like a name, what aspects of primal to keep, which ones to exchange for other things and some sort of direction that is appropriate and unifying for our group.
so come to church tomorrow night, 7:30, with your thinking caps and hope.
