new band that i love
last night whilst slaving away over a handful of homework assignments and papers, i was listening to echoes on npr. this is probally my favorite program on 105.7 (second maybe to certian segments on prarie home and wait wait) but truely, i love the music on this show, and the following show, hearts of space, too. but in the third half hour of the second episode (9p), they did an interview with icelandic band Amiina. they're kinda like the girl version of Sigur Ros - one of the members is even married to their keyboardist. and they were great! fabulous. posibly even better than their male counterpart? just beautiful stuff. they're on myspace, so you should check them out.
