(no subject)
Living alone, while certainly enjoyable for me, means that I have less to update about. And because I can now actually watch my TV, it means I'm not constantly sitting on my computer, and thus not coming up with entries. I want to update more...hopefully I can get back into the flow of things. For now, I just have some camera phone pics I thought were worth sharing.
a) A recently remodeled McDonald's near my office has new artwork on the walls. There are about 5 paintings such as this one, depciting people enjoying city life...and every single person in these paintings is white. Nevermind that this restaurant is located downtown where there are people of every color & nationality, nevermind that 90% of the staff or more is minority...the artist's world is apprently entirely white. Amazing. (c'mon, even the hip female DJ spinning records is white!)
b) Walking down the street last week when I saw this van...I really don't understand the connection at all...a kink supplier?
c) This little framed drawing was in the bathroom at my dentist's office. Mystifying...
d) A wonderful little drawing warning you not to park in the lot next to the burrito house...
