They mean it when they say to not overfill the washing machine...i've now spent $4.50 on a single load of laundry.
when the washing cycle finished, there were still suds on the clothing...so i figured, alright, I'll just run it a second time (without additional detergent)...it'll be extra clean and free of suds.
In goes another 75 cents...and when the second washing cycle finished, it was apparent that the water had not drained properly, so the spin cycle didn't accomplish much and the clothes were soaking wet. I squeezed a bunch of water from them before getting sick of the exercise and throwing them in the dryer.
Normally, the dryer doesn't get too much dry for the first dollar...and a second must be spent to ensure that jeans and pants dont emerge damp. Well given that my clothes were still dripping water from the washer...i'm now on the third dollar. I don't think i have a fourth dollar in quarters available...and I just want to go to bed...
